Russians Missiles Hit Ukrainian Depleted Uranium Tank Shells Destroyed - Gamma Radiation Spikes in the Region's Ammunition Depot in Khmelnytsky Causing Massive Explosion
While depleted uranium typically emits very little gamma radiation, the significant spike observed in Khmelnitsky suggests that a large stockpile of depleted uranium munitions was destroyed, sending the uranium dust into the air.
The British Department of Defense (DoD) confirmed that it would provide Ukrainian armed forces with depleted-uranium tank rounds.
The damage from this radiation can be severe, as the range is increased in fluids (gas or liquid), and the energy causes damage to cellular structures and the DNA/RNA molecules.
